The successful Swiss rider Clarissa Crotta and her life- and business partner Sören Kühl are moving their horses and their shared company CK Sportpferde GbR to a new stable in Diepholz, Germany.

"We were a bit limited on the number of boxes at our previous base in Borgholzhausen, and the great interest from both overseas and from Germany have forced us to take this step," Sören Kühl explains. "We had a great time with much success, interesting experiences and could also position ourselves very well on the sales market. But next to Clarissa's international career we would like to focus on selling and educating young horses as well as having ambitious students and for that we need more space. Moreover we have a number of young horses in my home town in Schleswig-Holstein that are also going to be trained and educated in Diepholz."

In Luxembourg’s Nicky von Roesgen’s stable Clarissa, Sören and their team have found a suitable and extremely beautiful country stable. In addition to big boxes, there is a bright indoor with a lounge for customers and a first-class outdoor. There is also a walker, a treadmill, paddocks and all you need for an extended training program for competition horses.

"It fits perfectly and we are looking forward to a great cooperation with Nicky and her Stall AVR Equimotion," Clarissa says and adds with a laugh: "The first box is of course reserved for Westi!"

Clarissa won the team gold medal at the European Championships in Windsor in 2009 with her success horse West Side van Meerputhoeve. The pair was also third in the Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix and second in the Braunschweig Grand Prix. Unfortunately West Side sustained a severe injury on his flexor tendon on the right front leg in the Doha Grand Prix at the beginning of the year. In the same class Clarissa and West Side finished third. The gelding is now completely recovered, and will slowly start being ridden again.
