Fantastic start to the outdoor season in San Giova
2014-06-04

We are now in San Giovanni with many of our horses to start the outdoor season. The first week is finished and the horses delivered great rounds.

Our five year old Vanille de Rouhet (by L'Arc de Triomphe) was clear on the first day and ranked as number one together with the other horses that jumped clear rounds. On Thursday our new horse Coranos (by Coronas x Dublin L) was clear and ended as number eight in the final for the 5 year olds.

The six year old Lasse (by Lord Pezi x Last Liberty) delivered three very safe clear rounds and in the final he was once again clear - both in the first round and in the jump-off - and placed! Une Star de St. Simeon (by Capital W) was also clear in several classes and was placed third and seventh.

Cistria (by Canto x Corso) ended third and eight in the class for seven year olds and in the final on Saturday she had an unlucky fault in the jump-off.

The eight year old Cristo-daughter Caprice once again jumped amazing and was placed in the 1.40 class on Friday and had a very light fault in the small Grand Prix on Saturday.

Risohorse Emilia (by Extasy x Polydor) was back in the ring after a break and started up again with jumping the 1.30 m classes. On Sunday she was in the ribbons. Clarissa and the gelding Rebell (by Ramiro's Son x Landlord) had a disagreement in the 1.45 m class the first day so the next days we put him in the 1.35 m classes which he jumped successfully.

Clarissa also rode the newly approved stallion Risohorse Locorotondo (Lord Lancer x Polydor) in the CSI1*. He is back after a year without shows and on Sunday he delivered two clear rounds over the 1.30 m course. Carica (by Cornet Obolensky) was also double clear and placed on Sunday. Clari also did her show debut on the six year old Lux III (by Lordanos x Landclassic) over the 1.20 m tracks and the pair ended the weekend without faults and could thus pick up a ribbon in Sunday's final!
